I hate Ubuntu >:(

When you use Nautilus to copy multiple things to multiple places, is it just me or does it do all the operations concurrently, slowing them all down as it scrubs back and forth between disk locations?

And why doesn’t it have a Pause button?

Would this be so hard to implement?

Why can’t I double-click on .sh files to launch them?  Or right-click and open them with some kind of launcher?  I thought there used to be a way to do that.

Why do I need to manually refresh Nautilus after a file is created?  I thought that used to be automatic.

Why don’t untrusted .desktop files have an icon?  They look like text files, which is stupid.  Give them an “untrusted” icon.

When I copy a file and then paste it into the terminal, couldn’t you automatically add the quotes around the path so filenames with spaces don’t screw up my commands?

Oh right, I’m supposed to only use ASCII and underscores in filenames like it’s 1990.
